説明
シェルのサイズは5mmから11mmの間で変化します。小さな殻は球形の円錐形をしており、Clanculuscorallinusと形が非常に似ています。5つの渦巻きは鋭くgranose-lirateです。それらは茶色で、縫合糸の下は多かれ少なかれ黒っぽくなります。シェルのベースには白が点在しています。本体は、渦巻き11の急激granoseリッジ、深く隆起部よりも広く深い溝によって分離されたベースのものに囲まれています。開口は同様であるClanculusのcorallinus、しかしの基部における歯コルメラは、より尖ったと小さくなっています。

分布
この種は北大西洋（アゾレス諸島、マデイラ諸島、カナリア諸島）で発生します
